Splendour is a 20-metre (66 ft) ironwood and teak yacht, built in Ara, Sulawesi, in
2018. She is not a phinisi. The hull follows a 1920s pleasure-boat line: white,
open-plan, three decks, a garden of artificial turf on the roof. Six crew. Private
charter only, Komodo from Labuan Bajo, January through December.
Three cabins sleep six adults. Each cabin takes two adults, or two adults and a
child under twelve. The back lounge can be made up as extra beds, which is how she
reaches eight: six adults and two children. The master at the bow has its own
bathroom. The two cocoon cabins share one. Days sit on the upper deck, the front
lounge, and a swim platform with a freshwater shower.
A tender, snorkel sets, a double paddleboard, wakeboards and surfboards come with
the night. Airport transfers, cruise permits and fuel sit in the rate. Park fees
and alcohol sit outside it. Minimum stay is three nights. Check-in from 15:00.
