Senja left a Bira yard in 2021 as a 31-metre (102 ft) boutique phinisi, drawn by Yann
Martinie and built for two people who want the ship to themselves. The hull is ironwood
and teak. The living is small on purpose. Two ensuite cabins, eleven crew, and decks
that stay quiet when only a couple, or a couple plus children, are aboard.
Four guests is the published maximum. The 25-square-metre (269 sq ft) master sits on
the main deck, with a king bed, wraparound windows, and doors onto a private terrace
with a sunbed, a table and a bathing platform. The second cabin is on the lower deck
and converts from twins to a double, so children, a nanny or a second couple have
their own ensuite without sharing the master.
Days sit outside. The foredeck holds dining, sunbeds and a bar. The upper deck takes
a stretch at first light or a film after dark. A 5.5-metre tender, kayaks, snorkel
kit and nitrox live onboard if you want them. Senja is for guests who want a small
private house on the water, not a cabin sold by the week.

How many guests can sleep on Senja?
Four is the published maximum: two in the master and two in the lower-deck
cabin. Two is the more generous number if you want the second cabin left empty.
Where does she usually cruise?
Komodo in the dry months, then Raja Ampat and the Banda Sea when the west

Can she handle diving and slow days on the same week?
Yes. Dive kit and nitrox sit onboard. The master terrace and the upper deck
stay clear of the first tank, so a massage or a late breakfast is not a
