Prana by Atzaro was built in 2018 in Bira, Sulawesi, as a 55-metre (180 ft) ironwood
and teak gaff-rigged phinisi. Beam 11.3 m. Draft 4.5 m. A Yanmar 890 hp carries her
at 8 to 11 knots. Four decks and about 900 square metres of usable space. Some
listings still print 2006. That is the wrong hull year. She launched in 2018.
Eighteen guests sleep in nine ensuite, soundproofed suites. Batavia, the master, sits
on the upper deck at 77 m² with wraparound windows. Uluwatu, the grand, is 37 m² with
a wall of glass. Flores and Komodo are the 27 m² deluxes below. Ambon, Maluku and
Misool are the 23 m² superiors. Ambon is the only superior with a window. Run and
Banda are the 18 m² standards. Run can take two adults in their own beds. Crew of
eighteen, including two masseuses, a dive instructor and a cruise manager.
The rooftop is a yoga deck by day and an open-air cinema after dark. Indoor living is
about 65 m². Outdoor living about 130 m². A spa, the Atelier de Beauté, sits onboard.
Two 7.2-metre tenders with 150 hp. Six SUPs, six kayaks, a wakeboard, skis, fishing
and a full dive kit. Raja Ampat from January through April and again in December. The
Spice Islands in May and November. Komodo from June through October. Private charter

Can I book a cabin instead of the whole ship?
No. Prana by Atzaro is private charter only. The operator sells the hull, not
individual suites. If you need a berth on a shared sailing, we send a dual boat
instead.
How many guests can sleep on Prana by Atzaro?
Eighteen across nine ensuite suites. An extra person or child is $750 a night
when the boat allows it. Sixteen is the more generous number if you want a
cabin left empty.
Does she have a spa onboard?
Yes. The Atelier de Beauté sits on the ship, with two masseuses on the crew.
One 30-minute massage or beauty treatment per guest sits in the night rate.
Extra treatments sit outside.
When was she built?
2018, in Bira, Sulawesi. Listings that still say 2006, or a 2012 refit, are
using the wrong year. She is a newer hull than that.
Who is Prana by Atzaro for?
Large families and multi-cabin groups who want space, a spa and a cinema deck
without jumping to a 65-metre hull. She is a poor match for a cabin-charter
couple or a short weekend. Komodo usually wants four nights. Raja Ampat usually
wants six.
