A 32-metre (105 ft) private phinisi for a family or a group of friends, with six ensuite cabins, a main-deck master, and a crew of eight out of Labuan Bajo.
Held for private groups through Komodo National Park, and east Sumbawa on the longer weeks.
Ikan Kayu is Indonesian for wooden fish. She is a 32-metre (105 ft) two-masted phinisi, built in Flores in 2014. Six ensuite cabins. Thirteen is the published overnight maximum. Eight crew, including a cruise director and a chef, run the house. She works Komodo from Labuan Bajo year-round, and east Sumbawa when the week is long enough for Gili Banta.
The night rate is written for ten guests. Three more can come aboard at an extra per-person night. The master sits on the main deck: a double, ensuite, air-conditioning, sea windows. Three more doubles share that deck. A fifth double sits on the upper deck. Below, a triple with bunks takes children or a third adult. Meals sit at a shaded table on deck. The upper deck is turf and beanbags, and converts for outdoor films at night.
A 5.5-metre tender with an 85 HP engine runs the reefs and landings. Snorkel kit, paddleboards and kayaks come with the week. Diving kit is extra, on demand. Three nights is the usual Komodo minimum. Tell us the window and the headcount. We work directly with the boat for the best price guarantee.

A family that wants a lower-deck triple for children, or a group of friends who want six doors that close without paying ultra-phinisi rates. Ten is the number the night rate is written for. Thirteen is the published maximum.
The master is a double on the main deck. Three more doubles share that deck. A fifth double sits on the upper deck. Below, a triple with bunks takes three. All ensuite, all air-conditioned. That is how she reaches thirteen.
Komodo National Park from Labuan Bajo, year-round. Three nights is the usual minimum. East Sumbawa and Gili Banta sit on the longer weeks. She is not a Raja Ampat boat.
Some dates open as shared cabin nights. That is not the usual product and those dates are not on our cabin calendar. Ask if that is what you want. Private charter is still the honest first ask.
The published night is for ten guests. Extra guests are $250 per person per night, up to thirteen. Park fees are $30 USD per person per day. Diving kit, alcohol and crew tips sit outside the rate. Snorkel kit, kayaks, paddleboards and Labuan Bajo transfers come with the week.
Tell us dates, headcount and how you want the days to feel. If she is the wrong length, mood or price, we send the next honest match.
