A 41-metre (135 ft) gaff-rigged phinisi for eleven, with a camera room, nitrox and a crew of eleven. Take the whole ship, or join a cabin charter if you do not need every berth.
Held for private groups through Komodo, Raja Ampat, Alor, Banda and Halmahera. Cabin charters run on published dates.
Fenides is a 41-metre (135 ft) ironwood and teak phinisi, launched in 2019 from Bonto. Michael Schnadhorst drew her. Kammisi built her with the Konjo of Ara. She is a gaff-rigged schooner that still works under sail, not a motor yacht with masts for show.
Eleven guests sleep in five ensuite cabins. The master sits on the lower deck at about 20 m², a king plus a day bed, which is how the ship reaches eleven. Two queens of 12 m² sit on the upper deck. Two twins of 12 m² sit below. Crew of eleven keep the ratio even.
Two sundecks, a salon with a bar, outdoor dining, and a camera room with six desks. Dive kit is serious: Bauer and CompAir nitrox, two 50 hp RIBs, SUPs, a kayak and a wakeboard. Komodo in the dry months. Raja Ampat, Alor, Banda and Halmahera when the season turns. Book her as a private charter, or take a cabin on a published sailing.
Vhana is a full-service travel agency and part of Virtuoso Consortia, and we are happy to customize your holiday. Send us your dates or approximate dates and the number of people. We then work directly with the boats for the best price guarantee. You are not looking at a public calendar.
If your preferred nights are already taken, we will provide alternative options for your review, including a cabin on a published Fenides sailing if that fits.
We are happy to quote pre- and post-cruise stays, airfare, and travel or dive insurance around the same voyage.
Private charter is the whole yacht on your dates. Komodo from $9,010/night. Raja Ampat, Alor, Banda and Halmahera from about $10,470/night. Cabin charter is a berth on a published sailing, priced per person. Seven-night Komodo from $5,236. Indonesian VAT at 11% sits outside. The figure on each sailing is the one that matters.
No. She is a 41-metre gaff-rigged phinisi schooner. Ironwood and teak, designed by Michael Schnadhorst, built in Bonto. She motors when the wind dies. That does not make her a motor yacht.
Eleven across five ensuite cabins. The master has a king and a day bed. Eight or nine is the more generous number if you want a cabin left empty.
Yes. Private charter is the quieter week if your group can fill the cabins, from $9,010/night in Komodo. Cabin charters run on published dates from $5,236 per person for a seven-night Komodo sailing. Two guests in one cabin each pay the per-person rate.
Yes. Bauer and CompAir nitrox, two 50 hp RIBs, and a camera room with six desks. She is a liveaboard that also runs as a private house. If nobody in the group dives, we still book her. The decks work either way.
Divers who still want a proper phinisi, and groups who want eleven berths without a 50-metre hull. She is a poor match if you want every cabin above deck, or a steel explorer. Those groups are not how we sell her.
Tell us dates, headcount and how you want the days to feel. If she is the wrong length, mood or price, we send the next honest match.
