This Cookie Policy explains how Vhana Indonesia Expeditions, the Indonesia desk of Vhana Expeditions (“we”, “us”, “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies on www.vhanaindonesia.com. It applies to all visitors, including visitors from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in much the same way. How we use cookies
We keep cookies to a minimum. We use one category of cookies that is strictly necessary for the site to work, and one optional category that helps us understand how the site is used. Optional cookies are only set if you accept them. Until you make a choice, analytics remain switched off, and declining has no effect on your ability to browse the site, view yachts or send us an inquiry.
We do not use cookies to sell your information, and we do not currently use advertising or retargeting cookies.
Strictly necessary
These remember your cookie choice so we don’t ask you on every page. They do not identify you and cannot be switched off, because the site cannot respect your preference without them.
Analytics (optional)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to count visits, see which pages and yachts are most viewed, and measure actions such as inquiry form submissions and WhatsApp button clicks. This tells us what is useful and what to improve. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. The information is reported to us in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.

Third-party services
Some features connect you to services run by other companies. These services operate under their own privacy and cookie policies:
- WhatsApp (Meta): our WhatsApp buttons open a chat with us in WhatsApp. Nothing is loaded from WhatsApp until you click, and from that point WhatsApp’s own terms apply.
- FormSubmit: when you send an inquiry, the details you enter are delivered to us by email through FormSubmit. FormSubmit does not set cookies on our site.
- Google: if you accept analytics cookies, data is processed by Google, which may transfer it outside your country, including to the United States, under appropriate safeguards. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so no font provider receives your information when you visit.
Legal basis
For visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, we place strictly necessary cookies because they are essential to provide the site you requested. We place analytics cookies only on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Managing your choices
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by selecting Privacy Settings at the bottom of any page. Withdrawing consent stops new analytics data from being collected from that point on.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Each browser is different, so check its help pages, for example for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. To opt out of Google Analytics on every website, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when we change the cookies we use, for example if we begin measuring advertising campaigns. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If we add a new category of optional cookies, we will ask for your consent again.
