Sequoia is a 30.5 meter wooden motor sailing yacht, handcrafted in Indonesia and
launched in 2017, built to United States Coast Guard standards yet designed to feel
less like a cruise ship and more like a small, thoughtful expedition vessel. She
carries just 6 guests across 3 cabins, cared for by a crew of 12, all Indonesian, and
every part of her design favors a slower, more immersive way of exploring the Coral
Triangle over speed or scale.
Cabins and Comfort
Sequoia offers 3 suites, each with a private en suite bathroom, air conditioning, and
a tiled bathroom with hot water. On the upper deck, the Sriwijaya Suite serves as the
yacht's master cabin, while the main deck holds the Island Suite and Ocean Suite,
both finished with the same understated, handcrafted warmth found throughout the ship.
Space on board is used carefully rather than maximized, keeping the whole yacht feeling
intimate without ever feeling tight.
Life Onboard
Guests can settle into the indoor lounge, browse the onboard library, or gather for a
fine dining meal prepared fresh each day. Outdoors, the sky deck and tender bar offer
an easy spot for a sundowner, and evenings often turn into a cinema under the stars or
a round on the karaoke system. Underwater lights built into the hull illuminate the sea
after dark, drawing marine life close enough to watch directly from the swim deck
without ever leaving the yacht. For getting into the water, Sequoia carries kayaks, six
stand up paddleboards, water skis, and a full set of ten dive kits with a compressor
and dive computers on board, along with a private beach setup of umbrellas, hammocks,
and a teak dining table for a sandbank lunch. A massage is available on request for
guests who want a quieter afternoon.

Sequoia moves with the seasons, sailing Komodo National Park through the summer months
and Raja Ampat through the winter, with occasional routes extending into Sumbawa and
